Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Pfeifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeSean JackSon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

JackSon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

JackSon swings around for an armbar but Pfeifer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into JackSon's guard.

JackSon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pfeifer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. JackSon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pfeifer's back instead.

Well, with JackSon on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Pfeifer is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

JackSon is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Pfeifer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Pfeifer for a finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
JackSon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pfeifer wants to lay and pray for a moment but JackSon keeps working.

JackSon is looking for a sweep. Pfeifer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

JackSon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pfeifer is keen to just control but JackSon is a slippery customer.
