Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khamed Al Khabbib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolfo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Khabbib will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Al Khabbib shoots in looking for a takedown but Vieira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Al Khabbib's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Al Khabbib decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Al Khabbib is keen to just control but Vieira is a slippery customer.
Vieira is trying to maintain the position but Al Khabbib is very close to passing his half guard.

Al Khabbib throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vieira's waist but Vieira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Al Khabbib off to one side.

Vieira shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Al Khabbib manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Vieira closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vieira lands in his opponent's guard.

Al Khabbib is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Al Khabbib tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Al Khabbib swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Vieira is now in Al Khabbib's guard. A big mistake from Al Khabbib there, giving up the dominant position!
Vieira controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Vieira stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Al Khabbib has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Vieira manages to get his head free but now Al Khabbib has transitioned to an armbar! Vieira grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Al Khabbib! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
