Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kristus Koistinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Siembieda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siembieda scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Koistinen pushes Siembieda away with a front kick.
Koistinen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Siembieda.
Siembieda scores with a leg kick.
Siembieda moves in looking to clinch but Koistinen pushes him off.
A solid body kick from Koistinen.
Koistinen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Siembieda misses with a looping right.
Koistinen fires out a quick counter leg kick but Siembieda just manages to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Siembieda looks to score with a jab to the body but Koistinen is just out of range.
Koistinen is looking to counter the offense by Siembieda and move into the clinch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Koistinen.
Siembieda on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Koistinen throws a solid leg kick but Siembieda takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Koistinen.
Siembieda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Koistinen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Siembieda gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Koistinen gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Kristus Koistinen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
