Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arlon Wind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flynn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Landlord's Walk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Wind has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Arlon Wind could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pete Flynn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Arlon Wind!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Flynn!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wind blocks a head kick by Flynn.
Flynn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wind takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Arlon Wind has been cut.
Wind checks the leg kick.
A head kick misses from Flynn.
Flynn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Flynn lands a head kick. Wind smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Flynn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wind.
Wind dives in and grabs Flynn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flynn pushes down on Wind's head and hops out.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wind tries to pull guard but Flynn holds him up against the cage and eventually Wind drops back down to his feet.

Flynn scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Flynn scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Flynn tries to land a body kick
and Wind counters with a takedown into side control.
Flynn is looking for a sweep.
Flynn felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Flynn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wind is controlling him well.
Wind works to advance to full mount. Flynn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Flynn manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Flynn manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wind keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Flynn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wind looks for a takedown but Flynn sprawls well.

Flynn is pressed up against the cage. Wind has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Flynn down to the mat. Flynn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Flynn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wind napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Flynn stands up and we're back to a striking position.

A nice right hand lands inside from Flynn.

Wind tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Flynn utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

A head kick lands from Flynn that sends Wind to the canvas. Wind tries to scramble back to his feet but Flynn brings him back down into side control.
Wind is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Flynn presses Wind against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Flynn lands a takedown into guard.
Flynn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wind is keeping the position for now.
Wind is working an open guard so Flynn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Flynn lands with a cross.
Flynn avoids the head kick by Wind.
Oooh a lovely combination from Flynn sends Wind down but not out. Flynn dives into side control looking to finish.
Oh Wind is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flynn decides to stand back up. Flynn steps back and let's Wind get back to his feet.

Flynn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Flynn working the clinch nicely. Wind is working for position but Flynn cracks him with a big knee to the head! Wind crumples up against the cage and Flynn lands two more shots before the ref can save Wind! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Pete Flynn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
