Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rob Snick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rob Snick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lyoto Bronson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snick.
Bronson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Snick under the eye.
Snick shoots in and drives through. Bronson sprawls well.
Good leg kick by Bronson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Snick chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bronson can pounce on him.

Snick instigates a clinch.
Snick trying to control the position but instead, Bronson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Snick into the cage.

Bronson wants to stand and escape but instead Snick has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bronson wants to stand up but Snick is controlling him.

Snick wants to control from the top but Bronson keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bronson wants to stand and escape but Snick is having none of it.

Bronson is wriggling around but Snick manages to pass to half guard.
Bronson wants to get back to his feet.
Bronson is not content to let Snick control the position.

Bronson has one foot on Snick's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Snick moves out of range as Bronson throws a body kick.
Snick throws a quick counter kick to the body but Bronson avoids it.
Snick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bronson tries to avoid it but Snick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bronson to the ground. Bronson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Snick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snick looks for the body kick but Bronson saw that one coming.
Bronson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Snick avoids the head kick by Bronson.
Bronson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Snick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bronson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bronson.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bronson. Snick shrugs it off though.
Bronson throws a quick inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lyoto Bronson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snick gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bronson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Bronson has had enough of the clinch but Snick keeps him there for the moment.

Snick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Snick goes for a double leg but Bronson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bronson continues to drive forward.
Bronson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Snick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bronson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bronson flicks out a counter leg kick but Snick steps away.
Bronson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bronson's corner calls for a 1-2. Bronson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Snick looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bronson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bronson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snick.
Snick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Snick throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bronson's waist but Bronson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Snick off to one side.
Snick has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bronson.
Bronson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Snick.
Some wild striking there from Bronson.
Bronson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Snick fails with the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyoto Bronson dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bronson lands a jab to the nose.
Snick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bronson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bronson raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Bronson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Snick avoids the head kick by Bronson.
Snick fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bronson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bronson scores with a head kick. Snick tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Rob Snick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bronson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bronson is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snick moves in looking to clinch but Bronson pushes him off.
Snick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bronson lands with a kick to the temple. Snick shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Oh Snick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Snick is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Bronson blocks a head kick by Snick.
Snick seems to have got his legs back now.
Bronson lands a high kick!
Bronson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bronson just misses with a punch to the body.
Snick walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bronson.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bronson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bronson keeps the fight on the outside.
Snick wants to clinch.
Bronson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bronson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Snick. That did some damage!

Bronson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bronson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Snick will feel that in the morning.

Bronson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bronson wants it to stay on the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bronson avoids it really well and circles away.
Bronson flicks out a counter leg kick but Snick steps away.
Snick walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Lyoto Bronson seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Bronson feints and then cracks Snick's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snick down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyoto Bronson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Bronson tries to bum rush Snick with a series of wild strikes but Snick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
It looked like Snick was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Snick takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Bronson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bronson is trying to break free.
Bronson tries to break the clinch but Snick is controlling the position.
Bronson can't break the clinch.
Snick tries to pull guard but Bronson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Snick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bronson moves out of range of the body kick from Snick.
Snick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bronson manages to avoid it.

Bronson lands a big head kick that sends Snick tumbling to the mat! Bronson takes a step backwards and waves Snick back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bronson lands a brutal head kick. Snick looks out on his feet and Bronson throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
