Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Guun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khabib Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Khabib Askren was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guun shoots in and bounces Askren off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Askren working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Guun has passed into half guard!
Guun takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Askren wants to get back to full guard.
Askren actively working from the bottom here.
Guun missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Guun thows a huge punch but Askren dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Askren is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Guun pulls his head out easily.

Guun trying to control the action but Askren is working from the bottom.

Guun is trying to control. Askren wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Guun passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Askren!

Guun throwing strikes here but Askren is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Askren holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Guun tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Guun misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guun misses with a head shot.
Guun working for a submission but Askren is keeping him at bay.
Askren really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Askren is trying to reverse the position but instead Guun has taken his back - oops!
Askren tries to escape but Guun has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Guun is trying to stick to Askren's back but Askren is turning into Guun. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Guun's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Askren.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Askren lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Guun throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Askren distracts Guun with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Askren loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Askren chips away with some ground and pound.
Askren lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Askren drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Guun dives on top into guard.
Askren has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Askren looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Guun has picked Askren up and slammed him! Askren can't keep hold of the triangle and Guun manages to pass to side control!
Askren is trying to get back to half guard.
Guun in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Guun trying to control the position but Askren is working away.
Askren has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Askren is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Askren is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Guun off and has taken his back!
Askren keeps control of the position as Guun tries to break free.
Askren is not going to allow Guun to sit and survive in this position.
