PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khamed Al Khabbib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Dilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dilla comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Whatever kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Khabbib shoots in and gets a takedown into Dilla's guard.

Dilla working for a triangle but Al Khabbib defends it easily.

Dilla isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Al Khabbib stacks Dilla on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Al Khabbib!
Dilla tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dilla seems a little lost for a moment, as Al Khabbib dominates the positioning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dilla is trying to work for a sweep but Al Khabbib has mounted him!
Al Khabbib wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Al Khabbib controlling the position easily from mount.

Al Khabbib mounts Dilla! Really nice guard pass there!
Al Khabbib controlling the pace for now.
Dilla tries to control the position but Al Khabbib now has his back.
Al Khabbib biding his time, controlling Dilla.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dilla is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Dilla is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Al Khabbib off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Al Khabbib keeps control of the position easily here as Dilla tries to buck him off.

Al Khabbib is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Dilla has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Al Khabbib has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Dilla taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Al Khabbib doesn't care though - he's delighted!
