Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Topper Green and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins throws a leg kick
and Kerr holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Perkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kerr looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Perkins throws a series of punches but Kerr avoids them all with ease.
Kerr gets the takedown into side control.
Perkins is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kerr decides to stand back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perkins was well out of range. Poor timing from Kerr.
Kerr tries to clinch up.
Perkins with the counter takedown but Kerr avoids it easily.
Kerr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Perkins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Perkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Perkins changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Kerr slips a jab from Perkins.
Kerr tries to clinch but Perkins moves away
and Perkins counters with a takedown into side control.
Kerr can't do much from the bottom here.
Perkins cracks Kerr with a big right hand but Kerr just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kerr struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perkins tries to advance to mount but Kerr denies him.

Kerr is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Kerr is trying to control Perkins's posture but Perkins avoids it.

It looks like Wayne Kerr has been cut.
Kerr takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Kerr takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
