Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between B Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson has chosen Skeamz - Allow me as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy throws a head kick that Anderson semi-blocks.

It looks like Luke Anderson has been cut.

Anderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Boy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Anderson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anderson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boy's back instead.
Will Anderson go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Anderson has Boy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Boy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boy wants to stand but Boy is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Anderson regains half guard.

That has opened up Luke Anderson's cut even more.

Anderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy wants to stand but Anderson is controlling the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Boy wants to stand and escape but Anderson is having none of it.

Anderson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
