Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kwiwan Fogomayu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayde West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fogomayu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kyamadu. West comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sober kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

West forces Fogomayu back against the cage and clinches.
West is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Fogomayu lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Fogomayu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

West throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and West counters with a big head kick but Fogomayu shrugs it off.
Fogomayu avoids a punch combination nicely.

West fails to land the takedown.
Fogomayu tried to counter with a leg kick but West avoided it.
Kwiwan Fogomayu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayde West.

Both fighters circling a little - Fogomayu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
West shoots in for a takedown but Fogomayu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

West fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fogomayu.

A decent looking cross lands there for Fogomayu.

Wayde West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fogomayu, as that shot connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
West shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fogomayu but Fogomayu pushes him off and we're back to square one.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

I would just about give that final round to Wayde West.
