Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nickey Spillane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Till I Collapse (ft. Nate Dogg). Nickey Spillane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spillane swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson counters with a stiff right hand.
Spillane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Spillane throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jackson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jackson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Spillane at a distance.
Spillane gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch.
Spillane looking for a takedown.
Jackson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Spillane works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jackson wants to stand up but Spillane is controlling him.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Spillane manages to pass to side control.

Jackson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Spillane.

Jackson pushes Spillane off looking to stand but Spillane dives back in and keeps control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spillane seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jackson moves into full guard.
Jackson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Spillane off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Spillane avoids nicely.
Jackson sets himself, and Spillane steps forward looking for the clinch! Jackson avoids it this time.

Jackson is looking for a counter combo.
Nickey Spillane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spillane thows a left - swing and a miss!
Spillane is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Spillane lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Spillane's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jackson under the eye.
Spillane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spillane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spillane cracks Jackson with an uppercut from hell and Jackson crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Spillane's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Jackson is rocked!
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Spillane controls the pace.
Oh Jackson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are working up against the cage. Jackson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A frustrated look appears on Jackson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.
Jackson misses with the head strike.
Spillane drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jackson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jackson with a hook.
Jackson slips under a jab.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jackson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Spillane.
Jackson swings for the body but Spillane moves out of range.
Jackson cracks Spillane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jackson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Spillane's corner calls for a 1-2. Spillane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Spillane looks to land a right hand but Jackson moved out of range.
Spillane throws an overhand right that drops Jackson like a sack of potatoes! Spillane dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nickey Spillane!
