PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Butch Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fulton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Funky Town. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fulton.
Fulton throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Little's head.
Little tries to clinch but Fulton is having none of it.

Little scores a takedown into full mount!
Fulton is trying desperately to improve position.
Fulton is squirming around, avoiding Little's attempts to control the action.
Fulton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Little is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fulton can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Little wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Fulton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Little fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Poor strikes thrown by Little there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Little swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Fulton is now in Little's guard. A big mistake from Little there, giving up the dominant position!
Fulton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fulton is breathing heavily.

Fulton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Little is proving hard to escape from.
Little manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Little postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fulton looks a forlorn figure.
Fulton wants to hold on but Little pushes him away.
Little is landing with some decent strikes but Fulton is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Little working for a submission but Fulton is keeping him at bay.

A nice elbow there by Little.

Fulton is rocked!
Fulton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Little on the ground.
Little is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fulton can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Fulton is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fulton has left one of his arms exposed and Little doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Fulton screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
