The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shannon throws a body shot but no joy.
Teka misses with a body shot
and Shannon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A swing and a miss from Shannon.
Teka blocks a jab.
Teka just misses with a punch to the body.
Shannon swinging wildly here.
Shannon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Teka manages to avoid it.
Teka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A jab from Shannon does it's job there.

It looks like Tui Teka has been cut.
Shannon defending well as Teka loads up on a big left hand.

Teka doesn't manage to clinch there - Shannon circles away.

Shannon throws a head kick but Teka moves out of range.

Mike Shannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shannon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Shannon forces Teka back against the cage and clinches.
Teka tries to work over Shannon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Teka tries a body shot but Shannon blocks it.
Teka misses with a short punch on the inside.
Shannon lands with a right to the head.
Shannon lands a big right hand that drops Teka! The killer instinct kicks in and Shannon finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Shannon!
