The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leopoldo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Leopoldo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frye is just riding it out for now. Leopoldo eventually gives up the hold.
Frye misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leopoldo wants to pass to mount but Frye is defending the position.
Frye makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Frye.
Leopoldo forces his way into half guard.
Frye might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leopoldo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Leopoldo is pressing down on Frye's thigh, looking to free his foot. Frye is holding on for now.

Leopoldo working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Frye is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Leopoldo has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Frye taps out!
