Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Rybicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hate Me Now. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pawel Rybicki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rybicki slips a jab and a cross from Diaz.

Diaz closes the distance and clinches.

Rybicki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Rybicki finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Diaz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Diaz works over Rybicki's head and body with a nice combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A nice leg kick lands there from Rybicki.

Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
