Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rickie Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Eastwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clint Eastwood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Clint Eastwood!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eastwood gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Eastwood shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bailey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bailey lands a couple of elbows.
Bailey is working Eastwood over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Eastwood is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Eastwood closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eastwood lands in his opponent's guard.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Bailey.

Eastwood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rickie Bailey.
Well Bailey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
