Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Livingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muhammed Ali has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eduardo Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Muhammed Ali!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ali.
Ali creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Livingston sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ali wants to lay and pray for a moment but Livingston keeps working.
Ali misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Livingston is trying to buck Ali off.
Ali creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Livingston sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ali tries to advance position but instead Livingston slips a leg back in to half guard.

Ali wants to work for an arm triangle but Livingston is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Livingston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ali is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Livingston defends it well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Livingston wants to stand up but Ali is controlling him.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ali loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Livingston looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ali now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Muhammed Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ali shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That was a close round but I would say that Eduardo Livingston will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Ali shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Livingston napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ali cracks Livingston with a big right hand but Livingston just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Livingston misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Livingston prevents Ali from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ali tries to buck Livingston off but Livingston is having none of it.
Livingston in side control, throwing shots but Ali defends.
Livingston throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Livingston throws an elbow but Ali slips to the side and avoids it well.
Livingston is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ali can do to turn this around?

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Livingston lands a few punches from side control.

Livingston tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ground and pound from Livingston seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Livingston could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Livingston wants to control but Ali is keeping him busy.

Livingston sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ali is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Livingston is putting a hurting on Ali here, landing some big shots from side control.

Livingston tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ali has closed the distance and engaged Livingston in a clinch.

Ali has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Livingston is trying to keep an underhook but Ali manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Livingston makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

A head kick misses from Livingston.

This has been an exciting period of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ali enables Livingston to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ali manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Livingston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Livingston changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ali looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ali is looking to reverse the position.
Ali wants to control but Livingston postures up.
Livingston lands a nice forearm strike.
Livingston is chipping away with strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ali is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Livingston asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Ali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Livingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ali takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Livingston stands up and beckons Ali to his feet.

Even with his hooks in, Livingston manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Livingston is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Ali is tapping out! This one is all over!
