Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dave throws a half hearted mid kick.

Dave gets a clinch.

Dave breaks the clinch.
Dave misses with a head kick.

Dave fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jacobson to the ground. Dave is now in Jacobson's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dave not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dave throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dave has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jacobson is proving hard to escape from.

Dave wants to stand but Jacobson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Dave slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dave lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jacobson circles away quickly and effectively.

Dave clinches up against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jacobson wants to break free but Dave has control.
Jacobson wants a takedown but no success here.
Dave blocks an uppercut.

Dave breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dave pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jacobson is out of range and Dave settles back down.
Jacobson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Dave looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dave looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Dave's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Dave takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Dave content to control rather than advance.
Jacobson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dave on the ground.

Dave is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Dave passes the guard and advances to mount!

Dave cracks Jacobson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dave swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jacobson counters with a left and a right that stings Dave.
Jacobson darts in looking for a takedown but Dave gets double underhooks and turns Jacobson into the cage.
Dave misses with a low kick as Jacobson jumps back.

Dave shoots in and bounces Jacobson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jacobson is rocked!
Dave is working Jacobson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Jacobson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dave gets to his feet and stands over Jacobson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Jacobson felt that one! Dave unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Jacobson from any more punishment!
