PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pascual Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abroham Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Another One Bites The Dust. Abroham Lincoln will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abroham Lincoln!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perez moves into the clinch.
Lincoln throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Perez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lincoln's elbow.

Perez has hold of one of Lincoln's legs. Lincoln is fighting the takedown attempt but Perez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Perez wants to pass the guard but Lincoln is keeping the position.
Perez stays in close to Lincoln's body and controls the position.
Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Lincoln is retaining full guard.
Perez stands and throws Lincoln's legs to the side, diving into side control.

It looked like Perez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lincoln swings wildly with an uppercut but Perez uses good head movement to avoid it.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lincoln's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
