Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert MacIntyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wymond Ivy!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ivy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and MacIntyre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacIntyre leaves Ivy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ivy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as MacIntyre throws out the jab.
Ivy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and MacIntyre counters with a right hand to the body.
Robert MacIntyre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wymond Ivy.
Ivy walks into a left hand.
Ivy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
MacIntyre is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Ivy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacIntyre sprawls well. MacIntyre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ivy gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like MacIntyre wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MacIntyre cracks Ivy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ivy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. MacIntyre tries to avoid it but Ivy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag MacIntyre to the ground. MacIntyre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A counter left hand to the body from MacIntyre misses its target.
Ivy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with MacIntyre but MacIntyre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ivy shoots for a double leg takedown but MacIntyre sprawls well. He's pushed Ivy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ivy goes for a double leg but MacIntyre avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as MacIntyre continues to drive forward.
Ivy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
MacIntyre scores with a jab to the head.
Nice uppercut lands for MacIntyre. That snapped Ivy's head back.


Ivy is rocked!
MacIntyre moves in close and cracks Ivy with a massive right hand! Ivy, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by MacIntyre!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robert MacIntyre!
An out of breath Robert MacIntyre thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
