Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alfonso Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St Peters!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Peters swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Torres holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
St Peters tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A head punch on the inside from St Peters fails to land.
Torres scores a nice knee to the body.
Torres slows down the pace here.
Torres blocks an uppercut.
Torres wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

St Peters pulls guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torres controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
St Peters not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

St Peters is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Torres stays in close to St Peters's body and controls the position.

Torres lands a couple of elbows.
Torres is working St Peters over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

St Peters working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Torres doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Torres manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Torres distracts St Peters with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Torres is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
St Peters wants to get back to his feet but Torres is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
St Peters wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Torres manages to pass to side control.

St Peters is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Torres prevents St Peters from standing back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Torres walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
St Peters scores with a kick to the body.
Torres has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from St Peters finds it's way round the side to connect with Torres's head.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from St Peters - that will leave a mark!
George St Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
St Peters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Torres swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Torres swats away the attempt to clinch by St Peters.
A chopping leg kick lands by St Peters.
Torres needs to keep his hands up - St Peters had a free shot at his head there.


Torres is rocked!
St Peters connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Oh Torres is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
St Peters flashes Torres a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Torres's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Torres crumples to the floor! He's out cold! St Peters punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). George St Peters!
George St Peters tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
