Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marc Dupuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heimdall Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Dupuis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Heimdall Ragnarson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ragnarson leaves Dupuis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ragnarson lands with a nice combination. Dupuis backs away looking to recover.
Dupuis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ragnarson circles away.
Ragnarson tries to counter with a clinch but Dupuis shakes him off and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Dupuis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dupuis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ragnarson has closed the distance and engaged Dupuis in a clinch.
Ragnarson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ragnarson is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Dupuis has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Ragnarson taps out instantly and this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Marc Dupuis started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
