Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davos Kung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sid Kruegg!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kung darts in and clinches Kruegg up against the cage.
Kung keeps control of Kruegg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kung softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Kung's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oooooh!!! Kruegg has knocked Kung down with a huge combo! Kruegg steps away and waves a wobbly Kung back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Davos Kung has been cut.
Kung goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kruegg misses with a left hand
and Kung counters with a nice body kick.
Kruegg tries to clinch there but Kung circles away.
Kung stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kung wants it to stay on the feet.
Kung fakes the leg kick and cracks Kruegg in the body.

Kruegg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kung moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kung went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

As Kruegg tries to get set, Kung tries to push him back and clinch up but Kruegg manages to avoid the attempt.
