Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kampatimar Shankariya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yokozuna Asashoryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Asashoryu has control of Shankariya's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Shankariya regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Shankariya has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Asashoryu finds it's way round the side to connect with Shankariya's head.

Asashoryu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Asashoryu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Shankariya looks for a takedown but Asashoryu sprawls well.

Yokozuna Asashoryu decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
