Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Freddy Francis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sumo Jo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis lands a nice shot to the body.
Francis throws a series of punches but Jo avoids them all with ease.
Jo looks for a takedown but Francis sprawls well.
Jo moves forwards but Francis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Francis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Francis counters by clinching up.
Freddy Francis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sumo Jo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Francis gets underhooks to prevent Jo's takedown attempt.
Jo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Francis pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jo tries for a takedown but Francis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
It looked like Francis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Francis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Francis duly obliges.
Jo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Francis to score with a decent uppercut.
Sumo Jo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jo tries for a takedown but Francis circles away easily
and Francis counters with a straight that turns Jo's legs to rubber! Francis pushes forward with more strikes and Jo goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
