PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bandit Faser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micha Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Go hard. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faser changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Faser manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Faser shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Faser.
Faser is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones connects with a single shot there.
Faser fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Faser pushes him off.
Faser feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf.

Faser isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Faser on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Faser working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Faser has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
