The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizzuto thuds a left hand into Simmons's body.
Rizzuto works Simmons's body with a nice hook.
Rizzuto throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Simmons stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rizzuto scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Armando Simmons has been cut.

Simmons shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Simmons was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rizzuto is trying to buck Simmons off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Simmons grinds an elbow into Rizzuto's temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rizzuto wants to get back to his feet but Simmons drags him back down.

Rizzuto is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Simmons manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.

In defeat, Vito Rizzuto stepped up to the mic, saying 'Vai a Fanculo !!!'.
