Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TestCharacterone TCone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fowler shoots in and drives through. TCone sprawls well.
TCone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fowler.

It looks like Dusty Fowler has been cut.

TCone moves into the clinch successfully.
TCone has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
TCone misses with an elbow over the top.
Fowler misses with a shot to the kidneys.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

TCone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fowler's half guard.

TCone has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fowler clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Fowler is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Fowler is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

TCone is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

TCone is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Fowler is defending well though. TCone let's go of the attempt for now.

TCone really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Fowler.
TCone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fowler defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
TCone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
TCone pulls Fowler in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fowler wants to control from the top but TCone keeps moving.
TCone tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

TCone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fowler quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Fowler takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fowler is looking to counter punch.

TCone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fowler, pushing him back against the cage.

Fowler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

TCone clinches with his opponent.
Fowler wants to break free but TCone has control.

TCone manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Fowler works over TCone with some ground and pound from guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
TCone wants to pass the guard but Fowler is keeping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

TCone goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fowler is on top in guard.
Fowler looking to sit in guard and control but TCone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

TCone throws an elbow that misses. Fowler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in TCone's guard. Nice move by Fowler!

TCone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fowler's guard.

TCone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

TCone stands and throws Fowler's legs to the side, diving into side control.

TCone is trying to get an arm triangle but Fowler is defending well.

TCone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no TCone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

TCone goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fowler has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for TCone but great work by Fowler.

Well TCone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
