Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Steinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steinsson has chosen Make Love as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Johnson scores with a body shot.
Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Steinsson has time to react.
Johnson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Steinsson at a distance.
Johnson stuffs the takedown.
Johnson lands a glancing blow to the side of Steinsson's head.
Steinsson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson is trying to push Steinsson away but Steinsson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Steinsson's takedown attempt.

Steinsson has hold of one of Johnson's legs. Johnson is fighting the takedown attempt but Steinsson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Steinsson is working Johnson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steinsson controls the pace.
Steinsson tries to stand but Johnson is controlling from the bottom.
Steinsson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Steinsson wants to take a breather but Johnson is having none of it.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steinsson on the ground.

Steinsson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Johnson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Steinsson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Steinsson is working for a guillotine from mount but Johnson frees his head quite easily.
Steinsson wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Steinsson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Johnson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Johnson!

Johnson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Steinsson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Steinsson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Steinsson!

Johnson can't do much from the bottom here.

A close round but Alexander Steinsson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Steinsson walks into a left hand.
Johnson feints a jab promting Steinsson to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Steinsson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Johnson connects with a jab.
Steinsson thumps Johnson with a low kick.
Johnson throws a right and a left that Steinsson avoids nicely.
Bryan Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Steinsson rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steinsson is looking to advance position but Johnson won't allow it.
Steinsson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Steinsson lands a nice short elbow.

Steinsson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well.

Johnson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Steinsson is working away from the top position though.

Steinsson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Johnson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
