Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veri stuffs the takedown.
Veri tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Norris swivels and escapes.
Norris slips under a jab from Veri.
Norris gets a clinch.
Norris blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Norris tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Veri smiles and moves away.
Norris shoots in for a takedown but Veri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pol Veri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Norris.
Norris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pol Veri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norris tries to sprawl but Veri drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Veri seems content to control.

Veri is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Norris has given up his back here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Norris trying to control the action but Veri just sinks the hooks in.

Veri is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Norris is tapping out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Pol Veri thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
