Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hubert Greene has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hubert Greene seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown thows a leg kick but Greene checks it
and Greene counters with a nice uppercut.
Greene clinches up against the cage.
Greene avoiding damage.
Brown using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Greene has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Brown creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Greene's defenses.
It looks like Hubert Greene has been cut.
Greene prevents the takedown attempt.
Greene takes a knee to the side of the body.
Brown lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown is taking a breather. Greene says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Greene lands with a few short shots to the body.

Greene has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Brown escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Brown!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Brown throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Greene works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Greene shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Greene keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Brown closes the distance and clinches.
Brown tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Greene avoids it.

Greene changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brown fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Brown pushes off an throws an elbow but Greene leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Brown gets through Greene's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hubert Greene's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
