And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carthage throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carthage cracks Werbenjagermanjensen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Carthage throws a right and a left that Werbenjagermanjensen avoids nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Werbenjagermanjensen! But no joy.
Werbenjagermanjensen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Carthage clinches.
Werbenjagermanjensen tries to break the clinch but Carthage is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carthage manages to break the clinch.
Carthage digs a good hook to Werbenjagermanjensen's body.
Werbenjagermanjensen goes for a double leg but Carthage avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Carthage continues to drive forward.
Carthage is looking for a counter combo.
Werbenjagermanjensen on the wrong end of a nice jab.

and Werbenjagermanjensen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sloppy strikes from Werbenjagermanjensen. Those never looked like landing.
Barca Carthage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Werbenjagermanjensen avoids the body shot from Carthage.
Carthage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Werbenjagermanjensen momentarily.
Carthage misses with a straight left.
Carthage looks to land a right hand but Werbenjagermanjensen moved out of range.
Werbenjagermanjensen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Carthage slips a straight right by Werbenjagermanjensen.
Werbenjagermanjensen tries to land a front kick but Carthage steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Werbenjagermanjensen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Carthage dips to his left and cracks Werbenjagermanjensen with an uppercut!

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Carthage engages and cracks Werbenjagermanjensen with a massive lead left hook - Werbenjagermanjensen tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Carthage is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
