Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenneth Jansson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Martin Holm!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holm gets caught flat footed, as Jansson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Holm looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Jansson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jansson slips nicely into half guard.
Jansson is looking to advance position but Holm won't allow it.
Holm tries to roll over but Jansson keeps him under control.

Holm looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holm is pressing down on Jansson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Holm had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jansson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Holm Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jansson's back instead.
Jansson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Holm wants to take Jansson's back here but Jansson is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jansson regains half guard.
Jansson manages to get to full guard.
Holm tries to stand but Jansson is controlling from the bottom.
Holm looks gassed!

Jansson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Holm working to try and regain half guard.

Jansson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Holm is on top in guard.

Jansson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Holm tries to stand but Jansson is controlling from the bottom.
Jansson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jansson prevents Holm from getting the reversal.
Holm in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Jansson swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
