The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A solid body kick from Marley.
Marley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Velvet Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Marley persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Marley shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
