Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Soderstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guss Griswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soderstrom's entrance music is Base 10 - new day. A fine choice. Griswald has chosen I Set My Friends On Fire - Aiden as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soderstrom looks to score with a jab to the body but Griswald is just out of range.

Griswald darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

It looks like Guss Griswald has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A lull in the action here as Soderstrom stalls from top position.
Griswald is still in real trouble! Can Soderstrom finish him?
Soderstrom will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Soderstrom remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
