Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tahar Heart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Great Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gonzo throws a lazy head kick
and Heart finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Heart lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Great Gonzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heart throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzo moves out of range easily.
Gonzo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Gonzo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gonzo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Heart looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Heart throws a head kick but Gonzo moves out of range.
Gonzo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gonzo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Heart paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Gonzo has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Gonzo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Gonzo throws an overhand right that lands on Heart's shoulder, as Heart tries to avoid the shot.

Gonzo tries to bum rush Heart with a series of wild strikes but Heart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gonzo is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Heart plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Heart pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gonzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gonzo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heart lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Heart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Gonzo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gonzo lands a leg kick that knocks Heart off balance momentarily.
Gonzo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gonzo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tahar Heart is winning the standup battle so far.
Gonzo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Heart makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gonzo really felt that one!
Gonzo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Heart.
Heart throws a wild body kick that Gonzo sees coming a mile off.
Heart throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gonzo throws a hook to the side of Heart's head but Heart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Heart will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Heart looks for the body kick but Gonzo saw that one coming.
Gonzo swings widly with a right hand
and Heart counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Heart is looking to wear down Gonzo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Gonzo tries to clinch but Heart moves out of range.
Heart tries to score with a low kick but Gonzo moves his leg out of the way.
Gonzo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heart swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heart avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Heart looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Heart lands a jab.
A thudding body kick lands there by Heart!

Gonzo clinches.
Gonzo misses with a short punch on the inside.
Gonzo misses with a punch to the body.
Heart is looking to break free of the clinch but Gonzo has double underhooks.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Heart counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gonzo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gonzo works over Heart's head and body with a nice combination.
Heart avoids the head kick by Gonzo.

Heart looks low and kicks high, catching Gonzo right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

It looks like Great Gonzo has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heart fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gonzo on the side of the head.

Gonzo is rocked!
Heart delivers a nice body kick.
Gonzo is still on wobbly legs! Can Heart finish him?
Heart is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Gonzo is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
