PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Supertuk Halaptung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dillaan Dinnis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halaptung comes to the ring accompanied by Brant Bjork, "We Don't Serve Their Kind". Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Supertuk Halaptung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dillaan Dinnis!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halaptung uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dinnis.

Dinnis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Halaptung looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

We've been told by Halaptung's head coaches at Eli7e that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Halaptung stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Halaptung wants it to stay on the feet.
Supertuk Halaptung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dillaan Dinnis.

Dinnis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Halaptung circles away.

Dinnis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dinnis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

We've been informed that Dinnis has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Dillaan Dinnis looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Everyone knows I beat him the first time around, and im thankful he granted me the rematch, but....im not surprised motherfucker!'.
Supertuk Halaptung spoke after the fight, saying 'My manager told me not to take this fight, I'm just too stupid to back down from a challenge. Now we have to do a trilogy fight.'.
