Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Connor!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kostolomac throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kostolomac misses with a double jab.
Connor slips a jab from Kostolomac.
Connor is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Connor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kostolomac tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Connor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Connor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kostolomac tries to clinch up but Connor circles away and keeps his distance.
Kostolomac is looking to clinch but Connor is avoiding it.
Kostolomac lands a jab to Connor's midsection.
Kostolomac tries to close the distance and clinch up but Connor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Connor misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kostolomac counters with a nice right hand that sends Connor toppling to the canvas! Connor scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kostolomac finish him?!


It looks like Dan Connor has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kostolomac tries to close the distance and clinch but Connor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Connor is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Connor keeps the fight on the outside.
Connor looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kostolomac tries to clinch but Connor moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kostolomac doesn't manage to clinch there - Connor circles away.

Kostolomac feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Connor sprawling to the canvas! Connor rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kostolomac finish him?!


Connor is rocked!
Connor backs away from a small jab... but Kostolomac lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Connor crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Kostolomac with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Pero Kostolomac!
