Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seb Sha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Solomon Kahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seb Sha!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Sha.
Sha misses with a looping right.
Kahn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Sha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kahn but Kahn pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kahn buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kahn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sha.

Kahn gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kahn prevents the takedown attempt.
Sha goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kahn prevents it.
Solomon Kahn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seb Sha.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Seb Sha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kahn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sha is defended easily by Kahn.
Kahn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Sha changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sha. Kahn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kahn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sha looks to land a left hand but Kahn moved out of range nicely.

Sha swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kahn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kahn has Sha pressed against the cage, preventing Sha from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sha is trying to push Kahn away but Kahn has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Sha wants to get back to striking at distance but Kahn won't allow it.
Sha wants to break free but Kahn has control.
Kahn misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sha looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Sha breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Sha does it's job there.
Sha avoids the body shot from Kahn.
Sha throws out a loose jab but Kahn uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kahn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kahn.

Kahn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kahn creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sha wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sha wants to get back to striking at distance but Kahn won't allow it.
Kahn dips a shoulder and cracks Sha with a mighty uppercut! Sha falls back against the cage and Kahn unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sha is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kahn screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Solomon Kahn!
During a confident post fight interview, Solomon Kahn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
