The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kiviranta darts in and clinches Hale up against the cage.

Kiviranta has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hale clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Hale manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.

Hale is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kiviranta is just riding it out for now. Hale eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kiviranta with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
