Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lebron Kenda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lebron Kenda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gordon Ramsey!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenda slips a jab from Ramsey.
Ramsey misses with a body shot.
Ramsey tries a head kick but it misses.
Ramsey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kenda feinted with a counter takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Ramsey. No joy for Kenda on that attempt.
Ramsey misses with a wild body shot.
Kenda lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kenda.


It looks like Gordon Ramsey has been cut.

Kenda is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ramsey's half guard.
Kenda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ramsey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ramsey wants to get back to his feet.
Kenda throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ramsey wants to stand back up but Kenda manages to pass into side control.

Ramsey on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Kenda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kenda looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Kenda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ramsey, who protects the arm well.
Kenda trying to control the action but Ramsey is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kenda works to advance to full mount. Ramsey defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Ramsey wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Kenda wants to finish this one by submission but Ramsey is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kenda.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramsey is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kenda fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kenda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ramsey is trying to stand.

Kenda lands a big shot there that rocks Ramsey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ramsey holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kenda tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kenda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ramsey is looking to escape.
Kenda won't let Ramsey get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Kenda looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Ramsey tries to buck Kenda off but Kenda takes his back!

Ramsey covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Ramsey wants to get back to his feet.
Kenda scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Ramsey is looking for a way out.
Ramsey is trying to get back to his feet but Kenda has full control of the position and if anything, Ramsey has just worked his way into a worse spot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is taking a good look at Ramsey as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Kenda!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Horrible takedown attempt by Kenda or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramsey, which made it look bad.
Ramsey swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kenda takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ramsey swats away the attempt to clinch by Kenda.
Kenda ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kenda moves out of range as Ramsey strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kenda.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Ramsey misses.
Ramsey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kenda wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Ramsey.

Kenda shoots for a takedown but Ramsey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As Kenda backs off Ramsey throws a huge counter combo but Kenda manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lebron Kenda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ramsey misses with a few strikes there.
Kenda ducks right into an uppercut from Ramsey.
Kenda uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ramsey has time to react.
A head kick misses from Kenda.

Kenda shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kenda showed some decent athleticism there.
Kenda keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ramsey can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ramsey is trying to stand back up but Kenda is controlling him
Kenda lands with a punch from half guard.

Kenda is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Kenda is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kenda breaks from Ramsey's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kenda lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ramsey hang on?

Kenda looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ramsey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Ramsey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kenda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kenda looking to control but Ramsey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ramsey has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Ramsey is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Kenda is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ramsey has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Kenda wants to control but Ramsey is keeping busy.
Ramsey is trying to stand back up.

Kenda is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ramsey can do to turn this around?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kenda is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ramsey knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ramsey for a finish.

Ramsey lands a slapping body shot.
Ramsey scores with a jab.
Ramsey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kenda appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ramsey throws the left hand but Kenda avoids the punch easily.
Kenda darts in trying to clinch
and Ramsey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramsey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ramsey lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
No luck for Kenda with that takedown attempt.

Ramsey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kenda.
Gordon Ramsey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kenda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramsey as he jumps to the side.
Ramsey lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Ramsey leaves Kenda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kenda moves into the clinch.
Ramsey is trying to break free.
Ramsey gets underhooks to prevent Kenda's takedown attempt.
Kenda keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ramsey's efforts to push away.
Kenda tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ramsey avoids it.

Ramsey tries to break free but Kenda pushes him back against the cage.
Kenda tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ramsey just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ramsey wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kenda is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ramsey pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ramsey is trying to break the clinch but Kenda has him pressed against the cage.

Kenda jumps guard and drags Ramsey to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ramsey wants to get up but he can't break Kenda's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kenda wants to stand up but Ramsey is controlling him.
Ramsey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kenda looking to control.
Ramsey is looking to stand up but Kenda won't let him.
Ramsey won't allow Kenda to get back to his feet.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kenda not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kenda throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kenda lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ramsey backs up against the cage.
Gordon Ramsey seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ramsey stuffs the takedown.

Kenda shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Ramsey is looking to escape.
Kenda is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Kenda has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kenda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ramsey is looking to escape.

Gordon Ramsey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kenda has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
