The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black dives in for a single leg takedown but Overide sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nice takedown defense from Overide. No joy for Black on that attempt.
Overide cracks Black with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Klay Black has been cut.
Black doesn't manage to clinch there - Overide circles away.
As Black tries to get set, Overide tries to push him back and clinch up but Black manages to avoid the attempt.

Black shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Overide is trying to defend but Black finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Black not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Black is trying to control the action in half guard but Overide is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Black is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Overide has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Black is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Overide is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
