Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fran Butternuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bayden Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Butternuts .
Butternuts trying to control the action but Wood is working from the bottom.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Butternuts has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wood pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Butternuts back to the ropes. Wood follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Fran Butternuts has been cut.

Butternuts fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wood to the ground. Butternuts is now in Wood's guard.

Wood throws a strike but Butternuts rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wood manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Butternuts manages to get himself to full guard.

Butternuts utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wood accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Butternuts throws a push kick but Wood slaps the foot to one side.

Wood drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Butternuts manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wood has Butternuts in his guard.

Wood thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Wood bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Butternuts 's guard.

Wood has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Wood is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Butternuts is aware though and is defending well.
Butternuts seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Butternuts is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wood has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Butternuts is looking to defend but Wood has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Butternuts ! Wood pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Butternuts taps out and this one is all over!
