PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Enrique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Pidaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Esteban Enrique has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Esteban Enrique seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Esteban Enrique!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stu Pidaso !
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enrique avoids the head kick by Pidaso .
Enrique tries to counter with a takedown but Pidaso is quick to defend against it.
Enrique looks to score with a jab to the body but Pidaso is just out of range.
Enrique misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pidaso .

Enrique keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pidaso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Enrique moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Enrique went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Pidaso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Enrique shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Enrique wants to pass the guard but Pidaso is defending well.

Pidaso wants to improve his position but Enrique is controlling well.

It looks like Stu Pidaso has been cut.

Pidaso shoots in looking for a takedown but Enrique manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pidaso 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Enrique cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Pidaso is still in real trouble! Can Enrique finish him?
The referee warns Pidaso that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Enrique tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Enrique lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Whack. That's a big, big shot from Enrique! Pidaso is out cold! This one is all over!
