Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skeeter McGillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGillicutty is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Picture Me Rollin'. Skeeter McGillicutty is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McGillicutty forces Guerrero back against the cage and clinches.
McGillicutty is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Guerrero is trying to break free.
McGillicutty tries to pull guard but Guerrero holds him up against the cage and eventually McGillicutty drops back down to his feet.

McGillicutty is trying to maintain a safe position but Guerrero gets an underhook and turns McGillicutty into the cage.

McGillicutty manages to break the clinch.
Guerrero throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGillicutty shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerrero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGillicutty's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Joe Guerrero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Skeeter McGillicutty.
McGillicutty tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Guerrero defends well and McGillicutty ends up having to push Guerrero into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

McGillicutty misses with a takedown attempt - Guerrero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Guerrero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGillicutty moves away.
McGillicutty tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Guerrero stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guerrero wants it to stay on the feet.

McGillicutty tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Guerrero lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

As Guerrero backs off McGillicutty throws a huge counter combo but Guerrero manages to avoid it all.

Guerrero swings for the body but McGillicutty moves out of range.

McGillicutty drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Guerrero manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
McGillicutty can't get the takedown.
McGillicutty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Guerrero smiles and moves away.

McGillicutty takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McGillicutty has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Guerrero is looking to wear down McGillicutty with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
McGillicutty shoots in for a takedown but Guerrero shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McGillicutty avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

McGillicutty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looked like Guerrero was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
McGillicutty takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Guerrero tries a head kick but it misses.
McGillicutty feints the counter takedown.
Guerrero connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McGillicutty shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guerrero as he avoids it easily.
McGillicutty changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guerrero tries to avoid it but McGillicutty manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guerrero to the ground. Guerrero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McGillicutty looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Guerrero!
McGillicutty is chipping away with strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guerrero is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Guerrero is not content to let McGillicutty control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McGillicutty goes for a double leg but Guerrero avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Guerrero continues to drive forward.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McGillicutty shoots for a takedown but Guerrero saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Guerrero connects with a right that clearly hurt McGillicutty. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Guerrero proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till McGillicutty collapses and taps out under the pressure!
