The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barca changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A left and a right from Barca both land. Nice combination.

Diaz has closed the distance and engaged Barca in a clinch.

Barca jumps guard but Diaz turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Barca manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Barca looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Diaz pushes past his half guard into mount!
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Diaz tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Barca tries to improve his position but instead Diaz has taken his back!
I really don't envy Barca right now.
