Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez slips a straight right by Cole.
Rodriguez tries to clinch but Cole is having none of it.
Rodriguez moves in looking to clinch but Cole pushes him off.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Cole and Rodriguez goes tumbling to the canvas! Cole follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Hector Rodriguez has been cut.
Still in half guard, Cole seems content to control.
Rodriguez is looking to get back to full guard here but Cole has managed to pass to side control instead.
Rodriguez regains half guard.
Rodriguez is doing well to control the position and prevent Cole from advancing to side control.
Rodriguez tries to kick Cole off but Cole keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cole looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Nice strikes from Cole there.
Rodriguez is looking to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rodriguez can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cole perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cole seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Rodriguez actively working from the bottom here.
Rodriguez wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cole misses with an uppercut.
Rodriguez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cole.
Some bone on bone action there as Cole checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cole, as that shot connected.
Augustus Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodriguez tries to clinch there but Cole circles away.
Rodriguez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cole.
Cole lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cole connects with a stiff jab that staggers Rodriguez - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
