Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Imbecile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bright Heather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imbecile swats away the attempt to clinch by Heather .
Imbecile blocks the body kick.
Bright Heather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Imbecile feints and as Heather raises his hands in defense, Imbecile changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Heather has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Imbecile can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Imbecile thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Imbecile got a little sloppy there for a moment and Heather has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Imbecile has managed to get both his arms back between Heather 's legs - danger averted.

Heather is looking for a triangle but Imbecile pushes his legs off easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Heather closes the distance and clinches.

Heather manages to break the clinch.

Heather throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Imbecile was covering up waiting for the punch and Heather finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Imbecile is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Heather is looking to work some ground and pound but Imbecile has wrist control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Heather throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Heather tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Imbecile.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Heather lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Imbecile has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Imbecile and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Imbecile seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Heather fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Imbecile sprawls well initially but Heather persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bright Heather showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
