Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Damien Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaime Sparx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Law.
Damien Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Law has closed the distance and engaged Sparx in a clinch.
Sparx tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Law ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Law no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Law looks for a takedown but Sparx sprawls well.

Law lands a body shot.
Law tries to land a knee to the head but Sparx blocks with his arms.
Sparx looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Law is trying to trip Sparx. He has hold of a leg but Sparx is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Law persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Law tries a low kick but Sparx avoids it.

Law feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Law closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sparx's guard.

Damien Law overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Law connects with a nice short shot to Sparx's temple.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sparx is in trouble now - Law has advanced to mount!
Law lands a heavy elbow.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Damien Law dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Law is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sparx.

Law changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sparx looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Law has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Law looks up at the clock and then as Sparx takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Law smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Law is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sparx will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Law's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Law is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sparx knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Law shoots in for a takedown but Sparx shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
