Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Kieboom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Kornik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kornik throws a body punch but Kieboom moves out of range.

Kieboom throws a leg kick which misses Kornik's front leg but catches the back leg as Kornik tries to avoid it.

Kornik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Kornik counters with a series of strikes. Kieboom will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kornik shoots in for a takedown but Kieboom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kieboom jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

Kornik might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Kornik has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Kornik lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

As Kornik looks to move away, Kieboom throws a big counter combo but Kornik just gets out of the way.

Kieboom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kornik looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kieboom fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kornik has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kieboom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kornik.
Kornik closes the distance and clinches up with Kieboom, looking for a takedown. Kornik pushes Kieboom against the cage but Kieboom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
